Paris SS19 Highlights

Paris Fashion Week SS2019

Here & There Highlights

TATRAS JAPAN

REVEAL PROJECT began as a way for TATRAS designer, Masanaka Sakao, to explore and pass on Japan’s history and tradition through his designs. His fushions of traditional Japanese techniques are mixed into modern design styles in this 10 piece collection. On display in the gardens of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, "KYO-YUZEN" embodies an element of nature, evident in his choice of fabrics, prints and of course, location of presentation.

Manish Arora x Paris Saint-Germain SS19

MANISH ARORA

In collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain, the capital city's football (soccer) club, Manish Arora was inspired by France's iconic victory of the FIFA World Cup title this past summer, as well as a recent trip to Burning Man. The finale song, Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun seemed the perfect ending for Manish Arora's Spring Summer 2019 stunning collection, which highlights his colourful and vibrant style, full of bold shapes and whimsical accessories.

Greedilous

GREEDILOUS

Intricate and edgy prints evoking the spirit of the 80s on youthful, modern styles are seen on Greedilous's SS19 runway presentation. Designer YounHee Park takes inspiration from both the 80's rock-era and specifically, British singer/songwritter Amy Winehouse's unique style, while adding her own personal touches to present an original and bold collection.

Lie Paris Fashion Week

LIE

LIE's SS19 collection includes athleisure wear and tailored looks inspired by Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to cross the Atlantic. It was her confidence and energetic image, and the knowledge that Earhart opened the doors for women believe they could pursue their dreams, that LIE's designer Chung Chung Lee was drawn to – presenting his designs of both bold and soft colors to represent the freedom and comfort to a new journey.
